Teaching and Learning at Lunch (T&L at Lunch)
Held bi-weekly, T&L at Lunch sessions offer DKU faculty a space to share experiences, reflect on their teaching practices, collaborate on ideas, and grow as educators. Facilitated by the CTL, these lunch discussions are typically proposed and co-led by faculty members, helping to foster a vibrant faculty learning community.

CTL Lunch Table
All community members are invited to engage in informal discussions about teaching and learning. Gatherings take place on the last Thursday of each month.

Workshops
Designed for practical application, these workshops guide faculty through the “how-to” of implementing effective teaching strategies and integrating instructional technologies. Faculty with expertise in related fields are also invited to lead sessions and share best practices.

Guest Talks
The CTL—sometimes in collaboration with other DKU units—invites renowned scholars, faculty from other institutions, and higher education professionals to deliver guest talks for the DKU community.

Annual Teaching and Learning Showcase
Held at the end of the Fall semester, this university-wide event brings together faculty, students, and staff from both DKU and Duke to celebrate accomplishments, reflect on practices, and envision the future of teaching and learning. We also extend a warm welcome to faculty, students, and partners from external institutions, fostering broader dialogue and collaboration in higher education.
