Senior Educational Consultant for Sciences

Hanbing Lin received her Ph.D. in Physics from Drexel University and taught at the college and high school levels in the U.S. and China for over a decade before joining DKU as an Educational Consultant for the Sciences in February 2022. Her main responsibilities are to collaborate with the CTL team to work closely with DKU faculty, especially faculty in the Division of Natural and Applied Sciences, to provide pedagogical and instructional technology consultation, advice, and training; to strengthen the faculty learning community; to support and promote faculty research on teaching and learning; and to contribute to CTL work and research on effective pedagogy and curriculum design in the context of DKU, etc. She takes the lead role in various CTL programs such as the Learning Innovation Fellowship, the First-Year Faculty Colloquium, Teaching Grants, and Faculty Learning Communities, etc. She is also in charge of overall CTL communications and supervises interns and student partners.
