Active Learning Techniques
In this workshop, we introduce five practical active learning strategies that instructors can immediately apply in their classrooms—all within 60 minutes. Participants engage in each activity from a student’s perspective, followed by instructor-focused debriefs to explore implementation tips and variations for different teaching contexts.
Teaching with Technology (TwT) Workshops
We support innovative and technology-enhanced teaching by training instructors in the practical use of instructional tools such as Canvas, Panopto, WooClap, and more.
Facilitated by faculty
We also welcome faculty members with expertise in practical teaching strategies—such as feedback literacy, the effective use of generative AI, and more—to lead workshops and share their insights with the DKU teaching community.
