Haiyan Zhou

Haiyan Zhou (she/her) is the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, seconded from Duke Learning Innovation and Lifetime Education. Her professional interests center around advancing liberal arts education in a global setting, exploring the science of learning, and employing evidence-based strategies for continuous improvement. In her role, she leads programming, resources, and faculty development to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning, fostering a context of global education. Haiyan is also an adjunct faculty member with interests in science education and learning experience design.
