  • All Spring 2024 courses will be taught with Canvas by default. The Canvas course sites for Spring have been created automatically by the system. You should be able to see all your course sites under “Unpublished” on your Canvas Dashboard.

  • [Closed] If you prefer to stay with Sakai to teach Spring courses, you must fill in a Sakai Request Form by November 24th, 2023. Otherwise, you will be teaching with Canvas in Spring.

  • All courses will be taught with Canvas starting in Fall 2024. No new Sakai sites will be created by then. Existing Sakai sites will be still accessible until Summer 2025. See the timeline here.

Spring 24 workshops and office hours (for instructors only)

  • To help instructors become well-prepared for teaching with Canvas in Spring, CTL offered three rounds of training for faculty and teaching staff during the Fall 2023 semester. Each round of training included two consecutive workshops followed by two consultation sessions. The first two rounds of training were offered in-person. The third round of workshops was completely online via Zoom and  recorded.
