Haiyan Zhou

Haiyan Zhou (she/her) is the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Duke Kunshan University, seconded from Duke Learning Innovation and Lifetime Education. Her professional interests center around advancing liberal arts education in a global setting, exploring the science of learning, and employing evidence-based strategies for continuous improvement. In her role, she leads programming, resources, and faculty development to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning, fostering a context of global education. Haiyan is also an adjunct faculty member with interests in science education and learning experience design.
